I got a job!

And not just any old job, a job that can easily turn into a career, doing something that I love, with people who respect me. Oh, and benefits, and sick leave, etc, etc. Bye bye, service industry! Hello, medical field!

Finally some good is happening to our family...'bout time, too. I was about to lose it.

Is this thing (still) on?

WOW! It's been a long time. I'm kind of ashamed to even be writing this post because it's been 7 months (7 months!) since I've written in this blog. I know, I kind of suck at blogging. I can accept that. But in my defense...life has been so crazy! So much has been going on lately...Where do I start? In the last seven months I have:

1. Moved
2. Gotten married
3. Graduated
4. Been hugely pregnant
5. Worked my butt off

!!! Between getting ready for this baby, getting settled in our new home, getting married, and working, I've been BEAT! I never thought I could feel soverytired in my life...and I know the best of that is to come, in a about 4 weeks!

I'm gonna have a baby in 4 weeks. EEK. I never thought I'd be saying (er, typing) that. It feels insane. But I'm so happy, and I wouldn't change anything. And now...Some pictures!

So...blogging? Here I am! Forgive me in advance if this blog is boring, or if it follows no obvious train of thought. It's mostly just going to be me rambling...So don't say I didn't warn you.

Now that we've got that PSA out of the way, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Ruthie, I'm 23 and I live in California. I'm engaged (yay me!) with plans to marry my wonderful husband-to-be in the vague future. We've set a date, but we aren't solid on it. We have an awesome dog named Betty who was just mine when we met but now is "ours" (cue the cheesy music!) I go to school and work full time so don't expect me to be super dedicated but I feel like I have a lot to share so here I am to share it.

I think I covered the basics so I'll leave it at that for now...til next time!
